Ayurvedic Nutrition
Individually tailored to your constitution.
Food as medicine – for more than 5000 years.
The Ayurvedic approach to nutrition provides a framework that is individualised during nutritional consultation and complemented with practical recommendations – tailored to your personal living situation.
In Ayurveda, the world consists of five elements: ether, air, fire, water and earth. In our body they appear as three main energy patterns – the doshas Vata, Pitta and Kapha. They control all processes in the body, from physiological functions to thoughts and emotions.
Illness arises from an imbalance of the doshas. Ayurvedic nutrition creates balance between all three – and therefore sustainable health.
Constitution determination
Together we determine your personal Prakriti – the unique dosha combination that defines you and determines your nutrition.
Individual nutritional recommendation
Based on your constitution, you will receive a list of recommended foods as well as practical tips for your everyday life – adapted to where and how you live.
Sustainable balance
Once you know your dosha combination, you can keep your constitution in balance in a simple way – through suitable nutrition, daily and permanently.
“Do you know your personal dosha? Proper nutrition is not a question of trends – but a question of your constitution."
Vata. Pitta. Kapha.
Since we are born with all three doshas, they exist in a different ratio in every person. This unique combination makes us who we are. Typically, one dosha or one dosha combination stands out dominantly.
Vata
The movement systemCold, dry, light and subtle. Vata controls all movements in the body, regulates the nervous system and ensures elimination.
Pitta
The action systemHot, moist and burning. Pitta controls digestion, metabolism and temperature balance – the power of action and transformation.
Kapha
The structureCold, moist and heavy. Kapha provides mind and body with stability, structure and moisture – the protective, nourishing force.
